VSAMLite is an automated z/VSE VSAM solution for compressing your business-critical corporate data.
Increasing DASD I/O activity and lengthy backups can lead to poor system performance and slow online response times. Compressing your data using VSAMLite allows you to free up disk space and reduce DASD activity. This leads to improvements in overall system performance, shorter backup timescales and cost savings through reduced disk space usage. At the same time your end users benefit from faster application responses.
