VTAMPrint is an enterprise-wide output management solution for the z/VSE mainframe environment.
VTAMPrint increases resilience and helps you reduce your printing costs by managing document delivery efficiently across a heterogeneous environment including z/VSE, z/OS, z/Linux, UNIX, IBM i and Windows.
From VTAMPrint’s management console you can monitor all printers and print jobs, quickly identify potential printing problems and take immediate corrective action. You can also add output capabilities - such as automated job recovery or report splitting - to your z/VSE applications without the effort and cost of customizing your core mainframe applications. Additionally, you can maximize the return on your existing investment in printing technology by allowing non-mainframe applications to make use of high-speed mainframe-attached printers or, conversely, by directing mainframe output to low-cost networked printers.

In the event of a printing failure, print jobs are automatically recovered and restarted, which reduces the impact on business users and minimizes calls to the helpdesk - Automated splitting and bundling

Users running mixed platforms can benefit from integration with the Columbus suite, which provides strong capabilities for document composition, document workflow and digital delivery, together with mainframe and open systems output management
